The Research Team is doing research from various angles of Semantic Web which attracts attention as the next generation Web technology. In this research the team explores, among others, how the Semantic Web can be used in an education field. Though the Semantic Web has been often depicted as an ideal system by which all things are automated, it has not been prevailing yet. As a reason why it has not been popular it can be pointed out that metadata is seldom added. The Research Team studies what the Semantic Web enables in practice by adding metadata to teaching materials, through building of a necessary system.
