The research is meant to develop infrastructure for new communication network that utilizes the infrastructure of the next-generation cyberspace from the viewpoint of global governance. The research aims at establishment and development of the cooperation between Japan and the East Asia with special emphasis on China.
Development of the infrastructure for the communication network is advanced, specifically in the following three fields: Installation of East Asia Area-studies site; The development of the network and its use towards research activities in East Asia and educational exchange therein; and Research and practice towards solution of the environmental problems in China. |
