Nowadays, in university education, E-Learning is considered to be an important theme. By using E-Learning, university education can be changed into that is suited to individuality of each student. Moreover, it is possible to also make continuing education more attractive.

In order to perform E-Learning, it is necessary to make efficiently the teaching materials for self-learning. Although teaching materials are composed of various media, Video is the most important in it. Increasing number of university has started offer of lecture-videotape-recording service. Non-teaching staff records a lecture on videotape and the video can be perused on the web.

In the case of the existing video technique, since the format of video is standardized, it is difficult to express in video a teacher's individuality and educational feature. Then, this research project is meant to develop a system for formulating original teaching-materials for video. This system aims at the video creation with higher powers of expression. Moreover, it enables a teacher to record on videotape on his/her own, by developing a lightweight and portable videotape recorder.
